A loan of $1,425 helped to buy agricultural inputs.

Juana's story

Juana was born into a very big family, which created a lot of restrictions for her and her siblings. She was one of the ones who wasn't able to get an education.

Juana has worked growing coffee, corn, and beans since she was a little girl. When she was 20 she decided to get married to the man with whom she currently has a large family of her own, made up of 12 children. Only four of her children live with her: two boys, ages 15 and 13, and two girls, ages 11 and 5.

Currently they grow coffee, corn, and beans as a family. They work very hard every day in their fields so their children will have a better future and their own property as assets.

Juana has a lot of experience. She has been a farmer for more than 20 years and she's grateful to God for their land because it belongs to them. She dreams of being able to grow and using her profits to get new plots of land for her crops so she can earn more income for her family.

Currently Juana's requesting a loan to buy 10 bags of urea, 10 bags of soil amendments, 3 liters of Gramoxone fertilizer, 10 quintals of formula 18-46-0, 5 liters of plant food, and 10 quintals of soil amendments 12-24-12. This way she can better care for her crops and have an excellent harvest at the end of the season.
