A loan of $1,425 helped to buy agricultural supplies for her coffee plantings.

Elsy Danilbia's story

Elsy is a young woman of 27. She is in a relationship from which she has a son, who lives at home since he is still a minor. She has worked for many years in agriculture, which she learned through her parents, since they worked in agriculture all their lives. She completed her secondary education, graduating with a degree in social work.

Her customers are neighbors who live in the surrounding areas and buyers who come to the zone in search of a product that is wholesome, convenient, and of a quality to resell.

She is applying for a loan to purchase 10 quintals of fertilizer [a quintal is about 100 lbs], 12 quintals of urea, and 10 quintals of coffee-growing formula for her coffee plantings, since her priority is to be able to have a good harvest and take advantage of it to the maximum.

Her plans for the future are to expand her plantings of coffee, planting a better and greater variety to offer. Her dream is to give a university education to her son, to help him to the maximum in everything that is necessary and that is within her reach, so that he has a suitable elementary, secondary, and and university education and, with time, can put it to use.
