A loan of $350 helped to pay for her technical education in financial accounting.

Cindy Paola's story

Cindy lives with her sister and her mother. She is currently studying for a technical degree in financial accounting. She has always lived with her mom, and she is grateful to her for giving birth to her and taking care of her. Cindy's mom has always given her what she needs. Currently Cindy's mom is an independent woman who works in a bakery, although in truth her income is not very high, which makes it somewhat difficult for her to cover the fees of the university where Cindy studies. Being an adult now, Cindy plans to find a job which will allow her to help her mother and her little sisters. She is preparing herself to do this successfully, Cindy can contribute, paying for her own studies and helping with some of the household expenses.

Two years ago, she took part in a program which offered technical training to compete in the labor market. She signed up and passed; thanks to this program she was able to broaden her knowledge in all areas having to do with a career such as public accounting. One year ago, she entered the institution to broaden her knowledge, and she has felt very satisfied there, since it provides a very good quality of learning and accommodates her as a person. Now that she has the opportunity to do something for her well-being, she is not about to abandon it, and in this way she can provide help to her mom.

Cindy enjoys sports and likes to exercise, read and help out in the house. She also likes to participate in theater productions or to be involved in anything having to do with culture or the arts in general. She would like to be part of an academy and study theater arts in the future, so that she can become a great actress as well as a professional accountant and be recognized as an enterprising woman. She also has a great desire to help the most needy in the country and be able to contribute to foundations, not only by herself but working with many people who want to improve the country's future.
