Edward's story

Edward is a 58-year-old man from Nakuru. He is married to Susan, who is a housewife. They have five children, who are 21, 19, 16, 13 and 8 years old.

He operates a business of selling farm produce (such as potatoes) and charcoal. He has been running this business for the past 10 years. Edward's currently monthly income is approximately 10,000 KES.

Edward has applied for his second loan from Kadet Ltd. in the amount of 20,000 KES to enable him to buy more inventory for his business and to improve his farming activities by buying seeds and fertilizers. His plan is to use the profits he expects to generate as a result of the loan to build some rental houses on a plot of land that he owns. In the future, Edward hopes that his business will grow to greater heights and that his family will be healthy and happy.
