Adzo's story

Adzo is a 48-year-old woman. She is married to a laundryman and is mother to four children. Only her youngest child, who is 18 years of age, is at school. Since 2005 Adzo has worked reselling food – namely a fermented paste called Kom. This food is prepared using corn, and is eaten with tomato sauce and fish.

To increase her stocks of raw materials (corn), Adzo has requested her first loan from WAGES. She hopes to save her profits and help provide for her family. Adzo is 48 years of age.
