A loan of $375 helped to buy compost.

Nora's story

Nora is 46 years old and she and her husband, Percy, have their own home. Nora is a farmer and raises gladiolo flower, beans, peas, and potatoes, but Percy went to work outside the city a few years ago, leaving Nora in charge of the farmland, which she did well with, thanks to her good judgment. Once more she goes to the capital to sell her harvest. She wants to use all her demonstrated ability to improve her crops and in this way generate greater profits. For now she is focused on her next potato and pea crop, as well as being happy to be able to help others get ahead. This will be her fourth Kiva loan and she is grateful for the financial support she receives to get ahead. She also promises to make her payments on time. Norma will invest the S/ 1,000 in compost to feed her crops.
