A loan of $1,575 helped to buy computers, chairs and tables.

Nubia Teresa's story

Nubia, who is 36 years old, is unemployed like so many in her country. However, this has not deterred her and she is always searching for options that will help her get by and earn an income. This is why she would like to open an Internet café. She will be able to take advantage of the fact that she lives in front of a public school and that no other business in her neighborhood offers Internet service, thus she will not have any competition. She feels that this business idea will be a favorable source of income.

She is applying for a loan with the idea of using it to purchase computers, chairs and tables in order to get her project going. With this business she hopes to be able to generate the resources necessary to support her family's household expenses. Nubia dreams of strengthening her business and making it more and more profitable every day, which would allow her the opportunity to have economic stability and to improve her living conditions.
