A loan of $1,600 helped to make some improvements to his bar: to change the lights and sound equipment and buy products at wholesale.

Yeison Deimar's story

Yeison, 19, works tending to his business, a bar located a half block from the main park of the municipality where he lives. He has been doing this work ever since he was 16 years old, when he was working for other bars in the neighborhood. He has a medium-sized business that has a capacity of 30 people. He works Monday through Saturday from 2pm until 1am, offering liquors and various cocktails. His customers can enjoy his pleasant space, listening to all genres of music. His customers are young and enterprising, active, energetic, and enthusiastic. They are always seeking opportunities to make progress. This has motivated him to seek support in the form of a loan that will allow him to make some improvements to his business premises: changing the lights and the sound equipment and stocking up with products purchased at wholesale. This will enable him to provide a better image for his business, which will attract more customers and will be reflected in greater sales.

With this loan, Yeison will be able to increase his income and continue to realize his dreams, especially his dream to grow his business, position it in the market, and generate employment opportunities. This will give him the capacity to obtain economic stability in the medium run, so that he can continue to support his household financially, and so that he and his family can enjoy a better standard of living.
