A loan of $650 helped to buy chemical fertilizer for the cultivation of corn.

Eulalio's story

Eulalio is a 58-year-old single man. He has two children who live in the Chuicacaste hamlet, Pixabaj village, Sololá, Sololá. He makes a living by growing different types of vegetables a few meters from where he lives, such as carrots, potatoes and corn. He learned this activity from his father when he was young, and thanks to his father's teachings he has now been doing this work for 35 years. He obtains the greater part of his income and earnings from this work.

Eulalio is a man who strives to get ahead with his family and this is why he is still working. He has realized that there is a strong and constantly increasing demand for his production, so he is asking for a loan of 5,000.00 Guatemalan quetzales to buy chemical fertilizer for the cultivation of corn.

His greatest dream is to expand his cultivation in order to improve the conditions of his home.
