Nydia Yulieta's story

Yulieta’s originally from the city of Monclova, Coahuila but has been living in Piedras Negras for the last six years. She and her husband decided to move to this city because they wanted a better future for their children who are young adults now attending high-school and university and so that they can have better employment opportunities.

Yulieta and her husband have been working in a tortilla shop for about six years. She’s tends to it and her husband’s the delivery man. In addition to this, they also sell pork sausage but this in an independent business. They make it at home and they have their own clientele.

Yulieta is asking for support by means of Kiva to be able to buy raw materials to increase sales because she knows that pork sausage sales is a very good business more so because they are very good quality and many people in Piedras Negras prefer it. She hopes in future to set up a fixed pork sausage business but for the moment she’s making it there at home and delivering it to her customers.
