Yeny Lizzett's story

Yeny is 41 years old. She is married, has 3 children, and lives in the town of San Pedro Sula with her family. She has always worked as a merchant. She started selling merchandise such as clothing. Three years ago, she decided to make and sell baleadas (flour tortillas filled with beans, egg, cheese, etc.), little corn meal pastries filled with meta, chicharrón or cheese pupusas. She has set up this business in a locale that she rents in the local market. To stock up on raw materials, she has decided to ask ODEF for a loan of 12,500 lempiras to buy flour, meat, seasonings, lard, beans and more. Her dream is to have another business to give her family a good future.
