Lolajon's story

Lolajon is a 63-year-old widow with four children. Not long ago she lost her husband, with whom she had lived side by side for almost 40 years. It was difficult for her, but she came to terms with it, as she has children and grandchildren she needs to live for, as well as work that she has to continue.

For 20 years, Lolajon has been working as Delegate of the Isoyev division of the J. Rumy region. The residents of her village respect her for her honesty and fairness. All of her children are adults now and support themselves. Lolajon wants to fill up her life and not give in to sadness. Therefore she has decided to start her own business, "Fatten and Sell Cattle". She intends to breed big-horned cattle. She has a cow shed in the her yard and some feed. Lolajon is asking for a loan of US$2,000 for her business. She wants to buy cows and calves and start working.
