Paula Emilia's story

Paula Emilia, 57, is married and has six adult children. She is originally from the region of Chinandega, located in the northwest of the country. She makes a living selling ice, natural beverages such as: Chilla (a drink made with chia seeds), Pitaya (a cactus fruit based drink), passion fruit drinks, pozol con leche (a corn-based drink with milk), beet juice, fruit salad, and more. Her business is in a fixed location in the municipality of Chinandega.

She fights day-to-day to be able to support her family. She is very happy with what she does since it is what has gotten her and her children ahead. The goal of this loan is to buy ingredients such as natural fruit in order to make these delicious natural beverages.
