Godofredo's story

Godofredo is 43 with a sixth-grade education. A farmer, he is married with five children, ages 22, 20, 18, 15 and 8. Currently, four children and a grandson are dependents. He has made a living in farming since he was 15 years old. He learned the trade from his father, and he hasn't worked nor made money in any other activity. He works alongside his family on land about 15 minutes from home. He works five hours a day. With the loan, he plans to purchase fertilizer and pay for help to prepare his land to plant chili peppers, green beans, tomatoes and squash and increase his production. At the moment, he needs to buy what he needs most, and he will be satisfied because he will grow what he has. Godofredo's dreams are for his children to get an education and keeping making headway with all the resources they need to be productive, and to always have the support from some institution.
