A loan of $800 helped to buy fertilizer for 21,000 square meters of maize crops.

Mario Antonio's story

Mario, 48, is married and did not study. His wife takes care of the household duties as well as their 9 children, ages 2, 4, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 19, and 21.

He has worked in agriculture from a young age. His family was not able to give him an education, so he had to learn about farm work from his father. He says that the best inheritance he received from his father was learning to work. His children also support him in his work.

He has applied for a loan from Fundación Campo to buy fertilizer for his 21,000 square meters of maize crops, thereby obtaining better results to benefit his entire family.

His dream is to have better harvests so that he can give something better to his children.
