A loan of $350 helped to buy spare motorbike parts to sell.

Sibra's story

Sibra’s husband owns a vehicle spare parts shop in which he sales motorbike’s spare parts such as break shoes, break levers, hubs, rims, mud guards, filters, chains, head lights, batteries, etc. He has been doing this business for many years and earning a sufficient enough amount to afford household expenses. Her husband has to support his family and aging parents also. The spare parts shop is his single source of income. He estimated his future expenses and concluded that he needs to grow his business so that he can easily cope with the future’s expenses. Therefore, Sibra requested a loan for her husband so that her husband could succeed in his ambitions. She is the mother of a daughter who is young and is fully dependent upon her parents. She spends her whole day at home and looks after her daughter and elderly parents as well. She hopes that her husband will be successful in his future planning and that this loan will prove beneficial for his business. Sibra says thanks to Kiva and to its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
