A loan of $625 helped to buy natural products.

Raisa Jacqueline's story

In the city of Portoviejo, the capital of Manabí and a city known for many years as the city of the Royal Tamarind trees, every fifteen days the members of the communal bank Las Américas meet.

Raisa lives here. She is 23 years old, single, and she studies auditing in the Technical University of Manabí. She lives in the home of her parents, who support her in what they can.

She is a very determined young woman who besides dedicating herself to her studies also sells natural products from the brand Nature Garden. She has many customers who always buy her products from her. She works three hours a day and at night she sells in the university to her classmates and professors. The products that she sells the most are linseed oil, shampoo for the prevention of hair loss, and slimming gel, among others. This is how she finances her studies, hoping for a better future.

This loan is for the purchase of natural products. She has been a member of the communal bank for four years, and she likes it because thanks to the loans, she has been able to continue with her studies.
