A loan of $700 helped to buy 4,000 chili plants, fertilizers, and pesticides.

Moisés Cruz's story

Moises, 60, lives with a partner and has 2 daughters. Only one of the daughters is in school, the other is not yet attending. Moises has a 6th grade education, because from the age of 8 he started to learn to farm alongside his father and his uncles. They used to cultivate corn and vegetables.

Today, he is continuing with this family tradition. To develop his crops, he travels a distance of about 1 kilometer to arrive in the place where he has his fields.

Moises is requesting a loan from Fundacion Campo to buy 4,000 chili seedlings to plant, and to buy fertilizers and special pesticides for these plants. He aspires to get great results from his harvest so that he can pay off his debt, as well as expand and diversify his crops.
