Zawadi is a married woman who has been blessed with seven children. She lives in her own house that is without electricity and piped water. For over ten years, she has operated a posho mill business, grinding cereals such as maize. She cites machine breakdown as her major challenge.
With the 20,000 KES she wants to purchase spare parts and diesel for the grinding machine. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
