Farhod's story

Farhod is a young businessman, living in the city of Kulob. He is 26 years old, married and has a two-year-old son. Farhod's 80 year-old father lives with the family as well. Farhod's wife takes care of the mother-in-law and her toddler. She runs the household and does sewing concurrently. Farhod is the primary provider for the family. He has his own retail business. He has been involved in selling women's clothing and women's scarves. His retail outlet is located at the city's central market. Farhod travels to the capital twice per month, buys merchandise wholesale, brings it to his city and sells it at retail prices. He requested a loan to develop his business. Farhod wants to buy a selection of seasonal women's clothing. He plans to buy a car for transporting his merchandise in the future.
