A loan of $1,025 helped to purchase maize, beans, cheese, pork rind, condiments and other items.

Gloria Esperanza's story

Gloria lives with her children, who are 8, 10 and 15 years old and all depend on her. For this reason she works making and selling pupusas (stuffed tortillas) to earn an income. She's been doing this for 10 years, working every day from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The loan she is requesting will allow her to purchase raw materials such as maize, beans, cheese, pork rind, condiments and other items. This investment will help her strengthen her business and make a profit.

Her dream is to have a stronger business and to have her children continue to study until they complete high school.
