A loan of $1,275 helped to buy more drinks to expand her sales.

Marcy's story

Marcy is running a provision shop in the area of New Kru town where she lives. It is one of the early communities in Liberia that is well-known. she has been running this business for the past year and making lots of profit, since she sells quality drinks in her community.

Her profits are used for feeding, paying school fees, and improving her saving account. A problem she faces is the slow buying during the rainy season. She started this business by selling for her mother, who gives her little money. She sells from Monday to Saturday, spending ten hours on her business.

She is requesting a loan to buy more drinks to expand her sales. She has three children ages between 8 and 18 who are in school and live at home. Marcy is 38 years old and she is a high school graduate.

Her plan is to expand her business and buy a piece of land. She thanks BRAC Liberia for their support!
