A loan of $250 helped to buy a stock of threads in different colors along with packs of zippers, elastics, and buttons.

Bushra's story

Bushra is a 44-year-old married woman. She is a mother of five; three of them are in school. Her husband’s sloe income is not enough to meet all household expenses, so Bushra started her own work of tailoring at home three years ago.

She very well knows the techniques of stitching. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns enough to lead a decent life.

To help her continue operating her business, she requested a loan of PKR 25,000 to buy a stock of threads in different colors along with packs of zippers, elastics, and buttons to meet up with the increasing demand.

In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
