Yasmeen's story

Yasmeen is a 43-year-old woman who works from home as a tailor. She has been in this line of work for three years now and is proud to be contributing to her household's income. When Yasmeen was not earning her family went through a severe financial crisis that compelled her to use her stitching skills in a productive manner. Her husband was the sole bread winner of the family so Yasmeen felt obliged to change her family’s living standards and started working from home. Her hard work helped her establish a good clientele but she is having difficulty in fulfilling large orders. She has therefore requested for 30,000 PKR to Kashf Foundation to purchase a new stitching machine with some spools of thread in different colors. She expects a boost in her earnings and dreams to expand her business in the near future.
