Sarah lives in Teshie city, which is in the greater Accra region. Sarah is married and she has two school-aged sons. Her husband works as a building contractor. Sarah has been engaged in selling yams, roasted chicken, and turkey tails for eight years. At first she worked from her house. After saving some money and gaining a lot of loyal customers, she decided to build a wooden structure for her business. Sarah buys and sells yams, roasted chicken, and turkey tails that she procures from the wholesale market. Sarah has asked for a loan of GHS 1,500 to buy more product for sale. She hopes very much that this loan will bring more income to her family.
