Abdul Kazem's story

Abdul Kazem is 35 years old, married and a father to two children. They live in Iraq and he is the sole provider of his family.

He owns a shop where he sells lumber blocks used for building construction. These wooden blocks are used to maintain the balance of a newly constructed building as the cement hardens. Abdul Kazem gained his experience by working in a similar shop for several years as an employee. In 2007, he established his own business and now he has three employees. He is well known in his surrounding area with an excellent reputation.
