A loan of $500 helped to buy fruits and vegetables to sell.

Evelyn Yaneth's story

Evelyn is twenty-eight years old and is a high school graduate. She is married, and her husband is an employee of the the town water system as a plumber. They have two children, ages 9 and 5, and their daughter is the only one in school. Evelyn lives in her mother's home, together with her sister, husband, and children.

She has been involved in business for two years, specifically in selling clothing. This was an activity that her husband suggested. Before this, she was only involved in domestic chores. She travels throughout the entire town, doing all of her selling door to door and walking great distances.

She now hopes to diversify her business activity. For this reason, she is requesting a loan in order to buy fruits and vegetables. She has observed that this business can generate more profits. She will be able to bring more income home while also having a new business.

With the investment, she will be able to generate profits, take care of her children, and offer her kids the opportunity to go to school.
