A loan of $450 helped to purchase a young bull for mating.

José Raúl's story

José is a young 27 year old man. He completed ninth grade and he is married. His wife is engaged in housekeeping and they have a four year old son that is not in school yet. His mother lives with them. For three years, José has worked in farming, which he learned from his father who took him to work when he was a child. He also raises pigs and cattle. To reach his crop, he travels about two kilometers; he rises at 4:00 am and returns home at 1:00 pm. He is requesting the loan to purchase a young bull for mating. He will be able to use the bull to plough the land and do other chores with the wagons and avoid these costs as that service is quite expensive. He hopes to earn a great deal of profits with the purchase of the bull because he wants to have all the basics in his home so that his wife and son don’t lack anything. He wants to buy more dairy cattle for future production.
