A loan of $6,175 helped a member to purchase clothing and other merchandise for resale at her business.

San Cayetano Group's story

The community group "San Cayetano" is made up of 15 entrepreneurial women and is in its sixth business cycle. All the group members are responsible, hardworking women who are grateful to Fundación Paraguaya for the opportunity to provide for their families and make an honest living.

Felipa is a member of the group and is 62 years old. She travels all around selling a wide variety of products, including blankets, sheets, hammocks, clothing, shoes, and anything her customers request. On weekends she travels to the areas of Luque and Mariano Roque Alonso to sell her goods and hopefully generate income to provide for her family.

With the support from this loan, Felipa plans to purchase clothing and other merchandise to stock her business. She hopes this investment will help her respond to client orders, and she is grateful for this incredible opportunity.

In this group: Noelia, Ludina, Benigna, Blanca, Perla, Victorina, Liza, Damasia, Sonia, Felipa, Francisca, Limpia, Blanca, Francisca, Fidelina*
