Saulo Otomeo is 27 years old and married. He has a completed three years of high school and has three children who are too young to attend school at the moment. He raises cardamom and began this business with a small amount of capital that his parents gave him. He has 10 years’ experience to date.

He is a member of a group and is asking for a loan that will allow him to clean and maintain his cardamom crops. In the future he would like to have more capital so he can plant more cardamom and in this way generate more income. The other members also raise cardamom. There is one person in the photograph who did not receive a loan.
