A loan of $925 helped to buy a batch of perfumes to sell in her business.

Alma Yolanda's story

Alma Yolanda is married with 2 children in elementary school. She works selling cosmetics through catalogs and has been doing this for more than 4 years selling to family members, neighbors, and walking from house-to-house, as they can’t manage on just her husband’s low salary. This helps Alma support her husband with the household expenses. She decided to sell these products in her free time because her children are small and she couldn’t neglect them as she is in charge of caring for them. Alma came to ask for support as she wants to buy a batch of cosmetics and perfume and sell them at a good price, in order to be able to obtain better earnings, as she is the one who sets the prices. Alma’s dream is to have her own facility, near her home and sell all types of beauty products in order to be able to help her household financially and to support her children in a good education and she says she wants to contribute to the women of her community who are always well groomed with the products she can provide.
