A loan of $1,000 helped to buy two cows to produce more milk and make cheese.

Yesika Yamileth's story

Yesika is a 26 year old woman, the single mother of three children aged from 5 to 10. She went to school up to the ninth grade. She starts her activities at 5:00 a.m. She prepares her children to send them to school while she works at commercial activities, specifically selling fruit in season (avocado, mango, jocote, etc.). She learned this activity from her mother. She acquires the fruit from areas nearby her residence and later she sells them in the city market. In addition, she sells milk, since she has two cows that produce for her.

The loan that she is asking Fundación Campo for is to buy two cows that will produce more milk to make cheese. Right now she only sells milk and doesn't make cheese. Even so, she generates enough income to support her family.

In the future, she wants to buy some land to keep her animals, since now she has to rent and it is very expensive.
