Blanca Estela's story

Blanca's a single mother who has three children, ages 20, 23, and 25. She makes a living in agriculture growing staples such as corn and beans. For 25 years she also has raised livestock, a job she learned from her father. She works at this from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. and hires seasonal workers to help her. The loan she's requesting is to buy construction supplies such as rebar, cement, sand, and stone, and to pay for labor. This investment will help her finish building her house so she has better living conditions. Blanca dreams of finishing her house and supporting her family's household expenses.
