A loan of $1,200 helped a member to buy chicks and feed.

Zvataida Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe. This is 58-year-old Molly from Mutare. Molly is a member of Zvataida Group. She is married with six children, and two are attending school.

Molly runs a poultry-rearing business, producing chickens. The business has been in operation for five years. She says the main challenge being faced is shortage of day-old chicks from suppliers due to high demand. Molly has requested a loan of $400 to buy chicks and feed for the poultry project. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve her family's welfare. In the future, Molly plans to raise multiple batches of chicks at the same time.
