A loan of $1,025 helped to pay for stock of balut (fertilized duck eggs) and crackers needed in her business.

Zenaida's story

Zenaida is very thankful for the financial assistance given to her. She used the money in buying balut (fertilized duck eggs) and crackers for her business. Her income from her business assisted with her children's education and their household expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 45,000 PHP loan to purchase stock of balut (fertilized duck eggs) and crackers needed in her business. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Zenaida dreams that her business will grow bigger and hopes to give her children a good life and education. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members every week to share stories of her life and business and to also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and repay microfinance loans.
