Yoeurn's Group's story

A mother of five children residing in the Sampov Meas Ddistrict of Pursat Province, Yoeurn is 55 years old and a local farmer who plants rice, peanuts, and maize. This business, which she has had for 20 years, has returned her about 19,500 KHR per day.

Now, Yoeurn is a leader of a group consisting of four female members. She and two other borrowers are the in their fifth loan cycle, whilst a remaining borrower is a second time borrower with VisionFund, Kiva’s partner. She has fully repaid her past loan with success in stabilizing her business on a good path. Now, the total amount of her entire group loan is 5,400,000 KHR.

Yoeurn, whose loan portion is 1,400,000 KHR, will spend her loan portion to buy 15 sacks of fertilizer to support her business. She hopes to boost her crop yield timely and get a good income so that she can start up a small grocery store to supplement her income.
