Khan, 47, is local farmer from Sampov Meas district of Pursat Province. For her entire family, six hectares of rice farming and half hectare of bean planting are the main sources of income. It is the business that she has had for ages. Khan, a fourth-time borrower with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner), has fully repaid back her past loans wisely to sustain her business at a gradually pace. Now, she is seeking for a new loan of 2,500,000 KHR in order to buy 10 sacks of fertilizer and rice seed for her crops. She hopes to double her crop yield and get a good income in return.
