A loan of $1,150 helped to pay for groceries, toiletries, and beverages to sell.

Florife's story

Florife is thankful for the financial assistance given to her. She used the loan as additional capital for her business. She has a variety store, which she has been running for many years now. She also sells peanut butter for additional income. Sometimes she has a hard time collecting payments from her customers, but by the grace of God, she is able to continue her business and it is growing.

She would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP loan to buy more merchandise to increase her product inventory. The more items displayed at the store, the better. More items to sell will result in a better profit. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Florife hopes to have more customers and dreams of having other branches. She meets with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week, allowing her to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God that she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, to build social capital, and to repay microfinance loans.
