Thuy's story

Thuy was born in 1993. She lives in Đong Anh District. Thuy’s family has six members. She is the first person in her family to pursue a higher education. Her mother is a farmer and her father is a worker. Her family’s income is about 5,000,000 VND per month.

Thuy is majoring in business accounting at Electric Power University ( Her course lasts three years and she will graduate in 2014. Thuy has a passion for her major because it is consistent with her knowledge and her hobby. She wants to continue until the end of this university course. She understands that learning helps her gain qualifications to get a high-paying job, so she can contribute her little part to build a richer and more beautiful homeland.

Thuy wants to borrow 10,206,000 VND to pay her education fee. If she can't access this loan, her parents will have to work harder and be more anxious when the new school year comes. After graduating, she hopes to find a high-paying job to help her family and contribute to social development. She appreciates the help of people all around the world who have contributed to this kind of program. This has supported the education of her individually and of Vietnamese’s young generation in general.
