Dung's story

Dung was born in 1993; she lives in the Dong Anh district. Dung’s family has six members.

Her major is General Practitioner of Hai Phong Medical University (http://hpmu.edu.vn/hpmu/). Her course lasts six years, and she will be graduated in 2017. Her education fee is subsidized by her parent.

Dung plans to find a part-time job to have more money to pay for her education fee. She is the first person in her family with a higher education. Her mother sells constructional materials, and her father is a driver of transport constructional material. Her family’s income is about 8,000,000 VND per month.

She has a passion for her major because this major is consistent with her hobby and her knowledge. She wants to become a doctor to heal everyone. Dung wants to follow thru to the end of this university’s course. She understands that learning helps her have qualifications to get a high-paid job, bring income for her family, and contribute a little part to help poor people.

Dung wants to borrow 14,580,000 VND to pay for her education fee. If she couldn’t access this loan, her studying would have to be interrupted.

She appreciates the help of people all around the world who are raising fund for this kind of program.This has supported a lot of education for students in Vietnam. She also hopes this program could be expanded more to help more students.
