Qurbongul's story

Qurbongul is a mother of many children: four daughters ranging from eight to 23 and two sons aged 18 and 22. She lives with her large and happy family in the Yavan region. She and her older daughters work as seamstresses and her husband works in the department of social welfare. One of their sons is working in Russia, and three children are still in school.

Qurbongul wants to start a family business raising livestock. She already owns one cow of a local breed for her family's needs. She is requesting a loan of US$1,100 to acquire three cows and start a business fattening and selling cattle. She already has everything needed to house and raise cattle. Her husband and second son will help her with the new business.
