A loan of $2,375 helped a member to buy clothing.

El Progreso Group's story

El Progreso Group is in its first loan cycle with the women's committee, in which they all work and help each other mutually to get ahead. They're women who are striving to make progress.

One of the members is Angela, who's improving her business and helping her family with effort and constant work and by applying the vital characteristics of a successful woman. She says that, among the jobs she does, she earns a living as a street vendor selling a variety of clothes. She has become known to her customers and now has a varied clientele.

She's requesting this loan to invest in buying clothing to sell. This way she can continue selling, just as she has been doing.
