Glenda Licth's story

Doña Glenda is 33 years old, married, and has one daughter who lives with her and her husband. She is entrepreneurial and a fighter. She works alongside her husband in many different agricultural activities, including the production of corn, beans, and coffee (her primary activity). She learned about agriculture many years ago from her parents, who taught her how to work and complete different tasks such as cleaning, fertilizing, cutting, and watering her fields. Her fields are located in the same region as her home, which enables her to give her crops better care and more personalized attention. Glenda has a secudary education and graduated as an accountant. Her dream is to educate her daughter so that she will have a better quality of life and obtain a university-level education. Glenda hopes to improve her family's economic situation by making her crops attractive for her clients, in this way generating greater income for her family and her home.

Doña Glenda is currently asking for a loan from COMIXMUL to buy 10 sacks of fertilizer as well as other chemicals for her coffee crops. It is necessary to tend to and maintain her fields, as well as extend them, in order to improve her income.
