Anarbubu's story

Anarbubu is 65 years old. She is divorced and has brought up two children on her own. Her oldest son is married. Her daughter is single and works as an architect. Anarbubu has received secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, Anarbubu raises livestock, having launched this business 20 years ago by purchasing livestock for 10,000 KGS. Thanks to Anarbubu’s hard work, her farm now has two heads of cattle, two heifers, three goats and 15 sheep. Her montly income is 10,000 KGS. In order to develop her farm further, ANarbubu has turned to the Bai Tushum & Partners microfinance institution for a loan in the amount of 6,000 KGS to increase her livestock by purchasing one head of cattle. Anarbubuy plans to use her revenues into a further increase of livestock. She plans to save up for her grandchildren’s college tuition.
