Adjodekon 2 Group's story

"ADJODEKON 2" is a group composed of three persons who are friends participating in tontines together. The group's representative, T. Catherine (with her hand raised in the photo) is 47 years old. She did not attend school, and she is married to a mason named Paul. The couple have two children, of whom neither are in school, but one is in their care. T. Catherine [takes care of] her children by herself. She ensures that the household expenses are covered. To meet her children's needs with too much difficulty, she has been hawking plates for ten years. She also sells coolers (insulated containers). She gets her supplies from a market in Benin.

With the goal of diversifying her business and earning a loyal customer base, T. Catherine joined with the other members of the group "ADJODEKON 2" to request a second loan from ALIDé. The first loan was indeed paid back.
