A loan of $500 helped to buy ingredients for pupusas.

Ana Margarita's story

Ana, 42, is a single mother who lives in her own house with her two children. She's a very hardworking, responsible, and honest person.

She has sold pupusas [stuffed tortillas] in a stall in her house for two years. Customers prefer her because she's friendly and has good prices. With her earnings she's able to pay some of the household expenses.

Ana's requesting a loan to buy a grill to make pupusas as well as the ingredients she needs, such as cracklings, corn, beans, cheese, tomatoes, cabbage, etc.

This way she'll be able to continue with her business, which is her only source of income, and give her children a better quality of life.
