Putsakada's Group's story

Putsakada lives in a rural village of the Sangke district, in Battambang province. She is aged 55 years and a married mother of four children. All of her children are dependents and still in school. For the last thirty-four years, Putsakada has been working as a teacher, while her husband is a solider. The current job earns her about 27,000KHR per day, to support her family’s needs. Putsakada has been a member of VisionFund for eleven loan cycles already. She completely paid back the previous loans. She has used the loans from VisionFund to better support her business and her family’s living conditions. Now, she is leading her group to ask for a new loan. As the leader, she is going to use her portion of the loan funds to buy tables, chairs, and a whiteboard, for tutoring students at home. She hopes this loan will enable her to earn more income from her current job, so as to improve her standard of living.
