A loan of $5,075 helped a member to buy sacks.

Trebol Group's story

The “TREBOL” communal bank group is beginning its tenth loan cycle in Pro Mujer, part of the Central Focus on Villa Tejada. This group is made up of eight members and is governed by a board of directors, of which Lucy is the president. The businesses that the members run are diverse and include selling dresses, transporting clothing, selling clothing, selling cosmetics, and sewing dresses. This loan will benefit the small business owners from Lucy's group. Lucy has been involved with Pro Mujer for three years. She joined at the invitation of her mother, who is also a member. Currently, Lucy has a business supplying sacks. She began this business after observing her clients' needs. Furthermore, this business allows her to spend half of the day with her parents. Lucy will use this loan to increase her capital (to buy sacks) from festivals in El Alto. She will later sell these sacks at her store. This business allows Lucy to generate resources to bring home. She is single and lives with her family. What she likes about working with Pro Mujer is the health aspect and doctor's consultations.

In this group: Lucy Alexandra, Juana Silvia , Milenka Judith , Agustina Nelly , Rosa Carmela , Soledad , Maria Mery , Marco Antonio
