Cissy

A loan of $700 helped to buy more crates of beer, soda, local gin and serving utensils.

Cissy's story

Cissy is married with five children. All of her children go to school. She has no additional family members. She takes care of additional family members (mother and orphans).

She operates a pub in a shop that she rents and has been in this business for four years. She sells to all categories of people on a retail basis seven days a week. She has applied for a loan of 1,800,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy crates of beer, soda, local gin and serving utensils.

Her major business challenges include seasonality and electricity. She aspires to have a permanent shop and stop renting. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity but not to piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and food.
