Oliver's story

Oliver is married with three children, two of whom go to school.

She has a business of selling maize, and has been in this business for two years. She has applied for a loan of 200,000 UGX from MCDTSACCO to buy more baskets of maize. She generates additional income through selling green bananas. She works at the market six days out of every week and sells on a retail basis.

Her major business challenges include seasonality and defaulters. She aspires of growing maize and also to build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity but not to piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and rent.
